In this episode Joe meets up with artist and sculptor George Triggs, who has taken on a disused commercial property in Shropshire that he hopes he could both live and work in. He is a renovation novice, and would appreciate guidance on dealing with his local planning department. Joe takes him to meet David and Pamela Ward who live in a converted barn which, like George's warehouse, had never been lived in before. They are on hand with some invaluable advice.

We visit an old cotton mill which, after sitting empty for years, is now midway through an exciting transformation; and we catch up with empty property officer Jason Hall as he tackles the issue of vacant buildings in Richmond.
