Classical music is transforming children's lives in a Tyneside inner city area as part of an innovative project called In Harmony at Sage Gateshead.

The 麻豆官网首页入口 documentary The Geordie Symphony School followed the journey of children from Hawthorn Primary School in Newcastle.

Two years ago none of the school children had ever picked up an orchestral instrument.

Now they are rehearsing to play a special concert with leading orchestra, the Northern Sinfonia, at The Sage music centre.
