A land rich in resources has been contested for centuries
Gus Casely-Hayford takes to the air to appreciate the abundant resources surrounding Lake Victoria and the Great Lakes region of Africa. For centuries people worked the land and fished the lake, but where there are resources there is often rivalry and competition. The Kingdoms of Bunyoro and Buganda used history and mythology to make a claim on the land, with one turning the tables on the other.
