Newsround’s Leah Gooding and Ricky Boleto investigate Shakespeare’s life. From his birth in Stratford-upon-Avon to his schooldays; his marriage to Hathaway when he was just 18; his family – by 21 he had three children – and how he left Stratford for London to become a writer of plays. In London Leah and Ricky visit Shakespeare’s Globe, the reconstruction of the theatre Shakespeare helped to pay for when it was built in 1599.
