Life 300km away from the nearest town
The Gibb River Road in northern part of Western Australia stretches almost 660km (410 miles) and is an iconic road trip for many tourists.
Most of the route is deserted, but the Mount Barnett Roadhouse provides a vital source of supplies for the local indigenous community and passing visitors.
