Jonathan Pryce is currently appearing on stage at the Globe Theatre as Shakespeare's Shylock in The Merchant of Venice 鈥� a play about European anti-Semitism.

He describes the play as "about fear of the alien, the immigrant鈥� and said it was 鈥渧ery, very relevant鈥� because of what is happening politically and socially in the world today.

鈥淚鈥檝e never liked the play, ever,鈥� he admitted to the 麻豆官网首页入口鈥檚 Andrew Marr, but added, 鈥淚 really like it now鈥�.

Mr Pryce also recently played Cardinal Wolsey in Wolf Hall and was the latest big name to star in Game of Thrones.
