Lisa鈥檚 condition means she has to be ready for a lung transplant at a moment鈥檚 notice
With an average life expectancy of 43, over half of adults suffering from cystic fibrosis will need a lung transplant if they are to survive as adults. The shortage of organs means that 1 in 3 will die before that happens. 23 year old Lisa is suffering from cystic fibrosis and has known all her life that she will need a lung transplant in order to survive. While her friends are getting married and progressing careers, Lisa gives an insight into the precarious life on the transplant waiting list.
