Mood box vote: Are our strike laws tough enough?
On Wednesday the government is expected to introduce legislation which will make it more difficult for Trade Unions to carry out strike action. Under Conservative plans strikes would only be lawful if they attracted a fifty percent turnout. In some essential public services - like health, education, fire & transport a "yes" vote of 40% of those entitled to vote would be required. The changes are being bitterly opposed by the unions of course. But what do the public think. Are our strike laws tough enough? We sent ElliePrice out with her mood box.
