Lily, age 11 and Joseph, age 8 have been dancing together for just over a year after meeting at dance school. The duo's style is contemporary dance, which is a juxtaposition to their excitable personalities.

"They’re so funny and full of beans when they’re together, however when the music starts they are focused," says dance teacher Keeran.

Joseph lives at home with his mum, dad and two younger sisters, who both also dance. Lily lives by the sea with her mum, dad and older brother. "We are best friends, we always make each other laugh so so much. Joseph is the joker because he makes me laugh the most, but I’m the boss though, I’m a bit older so I’m like Joseph’s big sister," Lily says.

Joseph started dancing a year ago, unlike Lily who began dancing at seven-years-old. Her favourite styles are modern jazz and musical theatre, with Joseph's favourite dance style being lyrical.

"Our favourite thing to do together is either go to the trampoline park and practice all our flips or we go to the desserts shop," says Joseph. In May 2019, the duo came first in Can You Dance, and currently the two aspire to be performers when they get older.

The duo's other style of dance includes jazz, musical, lyrical, musical theatre and ballet.
