After studying medicine at Oxford University, he specialised in emergency treatment. In 2004 he came second in a race to the Arctic, and then accompanied Bruce Parry on his expedition to recreate Captain Scott's last hundred days. He and his twin brother Xan have presented a range of programmes including Medicine Men Go Wild for Channel 4. Chris is a registrar in microbiology and infectious disease in London. On Operation Iceberg he'll be carrying out a range of extreme physiology experiments on team members to see how the human body handles such punishing conditions.
