Helen Czerski
As a physicist and oceanographer, science presenter Helen Czerski wants to investigate the forces that drive the ice cycle.
Her academic career includes stints at Cambridge University, Scripps institute of Oceanography and Los Alamos National Laboratory in the US. Now, as well as studying the science of ocean bubbles at Southampton University she is a television presenter, fronting programmes including and . On Operation Iceberg she鈥檒l be working with glaciologists and ice-experts to try to understand what's happening deep within the Greenland ice sheet and the 'berg itself.
