By day David runs a convenience store, by night he is Diana Dior his drag queen alter ego.
David and his partner, also called David, 鈥渞edeveloped their lives鈥� three years ago, when they sold their cars, took out a loan and bought the local newsagent. Being in a high crime area, they鈥檝e had to deal with four break-ins and some occasional聽homophobic abuse, but it鈥檚 not put them off.
We call it the tuck and dive...David
By day, David services the estate with his convenience food, but by night, he becomes Diana Dior, his drag queen alter ego. David鈥檚 never introduced Diana to estate for fear of reprisals, but he鈥檚 sick of hiding her above the newsagents and has decided to put on a drag show in a local pub.
Come the night of the show, are the locals prepared to embrace Diana?
