John Burns
John Burns was an apprentice engineer before going into politics.
Born 20 October 1858 in Vauxhall, son of a fitter. He was an English trade unionist and politician of the late 19th and early 20th centuries, particularly associated with London politics.
He was a socialist and then a Liberal Member of Parliament and Minister.

Kenneth is one of many notable actors who have passed through the doors of RADA, and also the National Youth Theatre of Great Britain. From his beginnings in Dunfermline he would soon find himself giving strong performances on stage, giving life to the work of the likes of Joe Orton and Harold Pinter. He would also grace television and cinema screens, starring in the likes of Shine on Harvey Moon and Hot Fuzz.
