Deborah
Deborah is the wife of an officer, who has left the colony aboard a ship to bring fresh supplies for them all. Deborah stays behind to be the Governor’s housekeeper, being a woman of high enough status to take on this task. Deborah is the supporter and friend with whom Governor Philip can be honest and share the problems of the colony.

About Brooke Harman
Brooke Harman is an American-born Australian actress. She was born in Orange Country, California and later moved to Brisbane, Queensland when she was still very young.
At the age of eleven she starred in her first television role in the children’s series, The Wayne Manifesto. From there she went onto appear and guest-star in a number of Australian television series’ such Home and Away, Flipper, Pirate Islands and The Secret Life of Us. Brooke is married to the actor and director Jeffrey Walker and have one son together. In fact, Jeffrey directed episodes 4-7 of Banished.
