Andy Peat trained as a nurse with the Army and left the service two years ago after tours in Iraq and Afghanistan. Cheerful and likeable with a rugged Glaswegian sense of humour and the unflappability of an Army medic, he鈥檚 a good nurse, possibly a bit too analytical, which can make him seem detached from the job at times. Andy and Frankie are firm friends both at work and over a pint in the pub at the end of a long day.
