Dr Zoe Evans has a sharp intelligence and a classic elegance. She's a good GP and excelled as a medical student but she鈥檚 always seen her profession as a job, rather than a calling. This has made her life, over the years, feel a bit aimless. She often comes to blows with our nursing team, finding fault in their work. Zoe has been married for 20 years and now her two sons are away at university, she鈥檚 starting to feel the strain of her empty nest鈥�

Jemma has starred in a huge range of film, television and theatre productions, including playing Dr Eleanor Bramwell in Bramwell and roles in Cold Blood, Unforgiven, Mansfield Park, 听补苍诲 . Her film roles include playing Evie Wilcox in Merchant Ivory鈥檚 Howards End.
