As a young, beautiful and unformed woman, Angelica is sensitive and trying to understand herself and the world around her. She struggles for independence and is stifled by her mother’s combination of over-protectiveness and secrecy, and the indifference of her two father figures.
About Lucy Boynton
At the age of 12 Lucy played young Beatrix Potter in Miss Potter, for which she was nominated for Best Supporting Young Actress in a Feature Film at the Young Artist Awards.
Lucy has since played Margaret Dashwood in Sense & Sensibility, opposite Dominic Cooper and Dan Stevens. She also starred in the 麻豆官网首页入口 production of Ballet Shoes, alongside Victoria Wood, Emilia Fox and Emma Watson. Other television work includes Mo, Borgia, Lewis, Copperhead, Endeavour, and Law & Order UK.
Lucy will appear in a coveted lead role in John Carney’s Sing Street, due for release in 2015, and she has most recently completed work on the horror film February, alongside Emma Roberts and Kiernan Shipka.
