Imran Khan off to Bollywood
|
He
is heading to Mumbai to complete post-production on his debut
film I – Proud to be an Indian opposite Bollywood heartthrob,
Sohail Khan.
‘It’s
quite an overwhelming feeling,’ said 22 year old Imran
Ali Khan at the Mela.
‘Especially
knowing this is the final live commitment I have in the UK
before the film comes out'.
'It’s
always great to see familiar faces in the audience who supported
the group’s work and now I hope they’ll give me the same affection
as I embark on a new challenge and in a new direction’, continued
Imran.
‘It’s
a great script and the story is something that’s never been
done before. So being a part of that alone is good enough’,
said Imran.

He
continued, ‘But then to be working alongside someone like
Sohail Khan was like a dream come true’.
From
an earlier age, Imran has always dreamt of seeing himself
on the Hindi silver screen.
Initially,
acting was purely an interest to him but this gradually turned
to passion.
It
was then, that he decided to leave London and pursue a career
in acting.
He gained entry into Kishore Nimit Kapoor’s Acting Academy,
in Mumbai where he got a chance to further his acting talents.
