Austria's Johannes Strolz has won gold in the men's Alpine combined.

That means he emulates his father Hubert, who finished first in the same discipline in Calgary in 1988.

Norway's Aleksander Aamodt Kilde followed up his bronze in the men's super-G by taking a silver and Canada's James Crawford claimed the bronze.

Ireland's Jack Gower, a distant relative of former England cricket captain David Gower, finished 12th.

    Men's snowboard cross final

    Ed Leigh
    Snowboarding commentator on 麻豆官网首页入口 TV

Haemmerle by a cat's whisker. He opened up the season with two World Cup wins.

He's come in here, and the man who had such blistering pace in qualifying, all the way through the races - Grondin - takes silver.

Emphatic from Haemmerle - he bided his time, he worked so so hard, and he's been rewarded with the gold.

    Men's snowboard cross final

By only two hundredths of a second, Austria's Alessandro Haemmerle gets the gold ahead of Eliot Grondin of Canada.

    Italy's Omar Visintin takes bronze.

It was third time lucky for 28-year-old Haemmerle at the Olympics after coming 17th in 2014 and seventh in 2018.

Curling - Great Britain 3-3 Italy (after four ends)

    Logan Gray
Former Scottish curler on 麻豆官网首页入口 TV

Excellent communication to steer the stone down the ice.

That really was a fantastic shot to tie things up by Bruce Mouat.

Curling - Great Britain 3-3 Italy

    Thomas Duncan

That was the best of Bruce Mouat. The GB skip didn't really hit peak form in the mixed doubles but that was a perfectly judged little tap out.

A couple of good shots and they're level.

GB draws levelpublished at 07:12 Greenwich Mean Time 10 February 2022

Men's team round-robin stage: Great Britain 3-3 Italy (after four ends)

    Bruce Mouat

    That is some lovely granite.

Bruce Mouat is perfect for weight and line as he slides a stone up into the house and wipes out the Italian lead.

    All square.

  9. 'It's really impressive'published at 07:08 Greenwich Mean Time 10 February 2022

Curling - Great Britain 1-3 Italy (after three ends)

    Michael Goodfellow
Olympic silver medallist on 麻豆官网首页入口 TV

One thing you notice with Team GB is their constant communication all the way down the sheet.

Communication from the thrower, and then the sweepers talking all the way down.

    It鈥檚 really impressive.

Final stones of end four en routepublished at 07:07 Greenwich Mean Time 10 February 2022

Men's team round-robin stage: Great Britain 1-3 Italy (after three ends)

Bruce Mouat looking for a "bang on the beak". Which is not the sort thing to dodge in a pub car park at kicking out time, but a plant on the stone at the top of the house.

The Great Britain skip lands it clean. Britain lying one...

Final stones of the end to come

  11. Austria guaranteed a medalpublished at 07:06 Greenwich Mean Time 10 February 2022

    Men's snowboard cross final

The last four left are Eliot Grondin (Canada), Alessandro Haemmerle (Austria), Julian Lueftner (Austria) and Omar Visintin (Italy).

One of these men will be Olympic champion very, very soon.

    Men's snowboard cross

What a great, thrilling second semi-final. At one stage everyone of the four racers had a spell in the lead, but at the line, it's Julian Leuftner of Austria winning it and Italy's Omar Visintin is second to advance into the final.

  13. 'A long way to go'published at 07:03 Greenwich Mean Time 10 February 2022

Curling - Great Britain 1-3 Italy (after three ends)

    Michael Goodfellow
Olympic silver medallist on 麻豆官网首页入口 TV

They鈥檝e still got a long way to go. Loads of time to get the scoreboard back in their favour.

They need to keep putting Italy under pressure and hopefully they will miss a few more difficult ones.

    Men's snowboard cross

Our first semi-final sees Eliot Grondin of Canada and Alessandro Haemmerle of Austria take the first two spots and they advance to the final.

Italy restore two-point leadpublished at 06:55 Greenwich Mean Time 10 February 2022

Men's team round-robin stage: Great Britain 1-3 Italy (after three ends)

    GB men curling

The body language among Great Britain's men is not great. The Italians by contrast are all smiles, back slaps and head taps after taking a point from the third end to push themselves two clear overall.

  16. Down to eightpublished at 06:53 Greenwich Mean Time 10 February 2022

Curling - Great Britain 1-2 Italy (after two ends)

    Michael Goodfellow
Olympic silver medallist on 麻豆官网首页入口 TV

Italy have always been the nearly men. Never quite winning enough to reach the play-offs consistently.

They are in a good spot and ever improving.

  18. Postpublished at 06:41 Greenwich Mean Time 10 February 2022

Curling - Great Britain 1-2 Italy

    Thomas Duncan
    麻豆官网首页入口 Scotland in Beijing

Italy are playing well here. Not fancied to go all the way. But then, they weren't in the mixed doubles and won every single game on their way to gold.

  19. curling

GB nibble back a pointpublished at 06:41 Greenwich Mean Time 10 February 2022

Men's team round-robin stage: Great Britain 1-2 Italy (after two ends)

Great Britain halve the deficit after two ends. This is shaping up to be a doozie of a battle on the ice though.
