Olympic gold medallist Bethany Shriever encourages each household member to try out a variety of dance styles which represent the ups and downs of being a champion and reaching goals.

As well as celebratory dancing, movement is also used to mimic climbing mountains, scoring goals and doing high quality homework, demonstrating that our achievements in life can be big or small.

Through the expression of feelings of dreaming, frustration and celebration, Bethany aims to remind everyone at home that making mistakes while reaching our goals is part of the process.

Being able to use our imagination is a powerful tool to help us see alternative possibilities.

Parent / Carer Notes

Families can use this activity to encourage each other to draw upon positive memories or to visualise what the future might look like. This can help to remind them of more positive ways of feeling and what there is to look forward to.

We advise a parent or carer to review the Moodboosters video prior to showing it at home, and consider the activity鈥檚 suitability for space, accessibility requirements and how it may be received by the children taking part.

The NHS offers advice for parents and carers around supporting children and young people with their mental health, for more info visit .
