Classroom Ideas
Watch the clip with the children and make sure that they understand that the footage has been sped up to show the plant growing. Ask them to draw on previous knowledge to discuss what plants need to grow well. Following the clip, the children can set up their own garden centre and research the best way to grow healthy plants, for example - light, water, soil, fertiliser, greenhouses. They could advertise the products they have grown and make a display of the facts they have learnt, about how to help plants grow well.
