Internet history and the digital future
This week on the Outriders ±è´Ç»å³¦²¹²õ³Ù we have one of our longer interviews where I get the chance to get my teeth into a longer discussion about our lives online. is a Senior Researcher at the Institute of International and European Affairs in Dublin.
He's written a book entitled A History of the Internet and the Digital Future. It covers a great deal of the military and technical background behind the world we inhabit online as well as the way we are developing via decentralised networks. But will this change lead to our lives offline also seeing a difference?
Johnny Ryan's work is out via Reaktion Books this month.

Indeed we are not on air during the day - but you can always listen to the podcast and play that back whenever it suits you best. Maybe even during daylight hours!
