Mitch's Salt and Pepper Chicken Wings & Halloumi Fries
SALT AND PEPPER CHICKEN WINGS
1kg Chicken Wings
1 Red Pepper (Diced)
1 Yellow Pepper (Diced)
4 Spring Onions (Finely Chopped)
1 Chilli (Finely Sliced)
1/2tsp Chinese 5 Spice
1 Onion (Diced)
6 Cloves of Garlic
Salt & Pepper
2 Tbl Veg Oil
METHOD
- Trim the wings and separate into drums and flats.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Air Fry at 220’c for 20 minutes until crispy.
- Get a wok or steep sloped pan onto a high heat and add the veg oil.
- Add the onion, peppers and chilli and toss for 1 minute.
- Add the garlic and continue to cook for 30seconds.
- Add the salt, pepper to your own liking and Chinese 5 spice and cook for a further 30 seconds.
- Add the crispy chicken wings along with the spring onions and toss for a further 30 seconds.
- Serve and garnish with sliced chilli.
SALT AND PEPPER HALLOUMI FRIES
Halloumi
1 Red Pepper (Diced)
1 Yellow Pepper (Diced)
4 Spring Onions (Finely Chopped)
1 Chilli (Finely Sliced)
1/2tsp Chinese 5 Spice
1 Onion (Diced)
Plain Flour
6 Cloves of Garlic
2tbsp Veg Oil
Salt and Pepper
METHOD
- Cut your halloumi into strips/batons.
- Get a bowl of flour and cover the halloumi.
- Put them into the air fryer with a little bit of spray oilm and cook on 200 for 10 minutes.
- Chuck everything into the pan and fry for 2 minutes.
- Add the halloumi and the spices and give it a good toss for 30 seconds.
- Finish off by garnishing with spring onions.
