Briony's Fruit Tarts

Bake-off semi finalist Briony May Williams has shared the recipe for her delicious fruit tarts. The cost per tart is only 25p! Her fruit of choice is apples and berries, but any fruit will work. See below for the recipe...

Ingredients

- 1 sheet of puff pastry

- 2 apples

- 125g raspberries

- 100g blueberries

- 1 tbsp sugar

- 2 tbsp milk

Method

1. Roll out your sheet of puff pastry.

2. Using a pizza cutter, slice the pastry into either even rectangles - eight or sixteen depending on the size of tarts you prefer.

3. Slice the apples and load onto your pastry along with your berries of choice.

4. Using a brush or your finger, dab milk onto the edges of each tart.

5. Sprinkle with sugar.

6. Bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes

7. Serve with a sprinkle of icing sugar (optional)
