Jonny Murphy's Fifteens

Ingredients:

  • 30 digestive biscuits, finely crushed
  • 30 marshmallows, halved
  • 100g glazed cherries, chopped
  • 1 large tin of condensed milk
  • Desiccated coconut (for coating)

Method:

  1. Place the 30 digestive biscuits into a large bowl and crush them finely using your hands or a rolling pin.
  2. Use scissors dipped in water to cut the 30 marshmallows in half. This prevents sticking. Add them to the bowl with the crushed biscuits.
  3. Chop the glazed cherries into small pieces using scissors. Add the chopped cherries to the bowl.
  4. Pour the entire tin of condensed milk into the bowl with the other ingredients. Mix everything thoroughly until fully combined.
  5. Sprinkle a generous amount of desiccated coconut over a chopping board or clean surface.
  6. Once the mixture is well combined, roll it on the desiccated coconut into a sausage shape. Ensure it is evenly coated with the coconut.
  7. Wrap the sausage-shaped mixture tightly in kitchen foil. Place it in the fridge and allow it to set for 30 minutes.
  8. Once set, remove the foil and slice into generous portions. Serve and enjoy!
