We start our story of industrialisation with a sketch called Victorian Child that highlights many of the dangers found in Scotland鈥檚 coal mines before the reforms of 1842. The song Power of Industry offers a snapshot of Scotland as it stirs itself to meet the industrial demands of home and Empire. The sketch Angry Annie gets us to consider the financial impact that the 1842 reforms had on working class families. Finally in Memories of a Mill Worker we present archive and documented detail of life and work in the mills of Dundee.
