Charlie is learning German in school. He is keen to practise and improve his German. He links up with a group of friends in Berlin with whom he has regular chats. Today, Charlie links up online and finds out about German food. He finds Moritz at his favourite sausage stall trying to decide which type of sausage to buy. He is well known to the stallholder who asks Charlie if he would like to try a sausage albeit virtually.
Moritz recommends the Berliner Currywurst. We meet Annika and Jens at home as they prepare kebabs from ingredients they find in the fridge. The children comment on the foods they like and dislike as Annika and Jens prepare some very interesting kebabs. Charlie describes his favourite kebab. Chocolate, cheese and gherkin. Annika is not at all sure about his choice.
