A message from Lenny Henry: This is a fantasy memoir using personal experience from the first two years of my long career. The film is my life in a parallel universe - events have been merged or re-shaped or omitted altogether. Names have been changed. As Neil Gaiman told me that fiction can get much closer to the truth鈥� what's the point of just saying what happened? Much more fun to make stuff up. So that's what I did.
