Daisy, Rebecca and Naomi explain to us how they are the best of friends. They describe each other’s top qualities and what games they like to play. Although they all like to play together or sometimes just two of them, every now and then the girls like to spend time on their own.

Students could use this clip to explore the positive attributes which make good friends, and also to consider the positive attributes and qualities of all of their classmates, not just their friends. A shape which has been cut in half could be placed under each student’s seat; students could find who has the other half, and this student then becomes their partner.

Students could make a paper plate portrait of their partner and then display it with three stars around the outside. In each of these stars they could write a positive comment about their partner. They can then share these with their partners so that everyone in the class receives three compliments.
