If you take the state of play in the political arena today and the way things seems to be going with these proposed cuts, (not the Devonwall) which is not of prime concern for Joe public, their concern is, will they have a job at the end of it all. MK could do better than they have done before.

But first MK must jettisons any links with the barmy carryings of the Celtic League secretary MC and the attention seekers of C24.

@Graham you're right to bring up the Devonwall issue in relation to Mebyon Kernow, this whole move by this coaliton government has undermined the position of their MPs in Cornwall. Issues like this have made it increasingly clear that voting for Cornish MPs only serves to put a party in at London. In terms of what they can do for Cornwall and their own constituents is negligible. Even with combining in the grand example of the coaliton to oppose this bill in parliament they were unable to do so.

This is the problem with less than thorough research (or less than honest presentation). Kingsand was an exclave. It was entirely within Cornwall - though designated as a part of Devon. The border between Cornwall and England is entirely different to this special administrative circumstance.

So MK have decided to spread themselves too thin again, and to lose more money at elections, instead of putting all their efforts and cash behind Dick Cole, who is after all their only chance of ever getting any power at noticable level..

But the biggest problem for MK is the parasitic nature of some of these nats, if MK were to have any real success in politics these nats would interpret it as if they had had an input into MKs success, sadly this will never happen for MK until they throw off the nats millstone that has been around their necks for the past 50 or more years.

Fact is the Parish of Maker which contains Kingsand was in Devon. Thats an absolute Fact. It is not an exclave it was in Devon and is still partly owned by Plymouth Citry council

Why have so many of my comments been removed pointing out a location just up the road from my was historically in Devon. I see Andrews has just gone for the same reason at the same time as Trembath appeared and yet it accurately reflected the truth.

MK are unelectable unless they distance themselves from campaigns (usually failed campaigns) by the small clubs of different nationalists, (Stannary, Cornwall 2000, Celtic League, TGG, Campaign Kernow) who can act the goat and create as much fuss as they like, as they have no seats to gain or lose, and nothing but their own egos to inflate.

Each time one of these groups of four or five self elected spokes people for "Kernow" shoot their mouths off, or run a (failed) campaign, MK loses support.

It's almost as if these groups are fifth columnist working against MK's interests

The focus of Grahams comments was with regards to DEVONWALL, thus that is what people have been debating. The moderation team clearly are not aware of what DEVONWALL is so have been removing comments which are on topic because DEVONWALL is the false belief that the TAMAR is a national boundary

I would never mention the rifts and divisions within the "nationalist" movement, Dave.
The Celtic League, (Chappell, Leamon and Richard Talbot), seemed to have fallen out with the Stannary Parliament,(12 old blokes from Redruth), and Campaign Kernow,(Graham Hart).

Let's get real what influence does C24 hold, except to fill a dozen or so peoples heads with corrupted information. The thread is about MK and for me it the link between the Celtic league and MK which damages MK.

Next MK has to decide what they want to achieve, do they want to represent the majority in Cornwall or remain a minority party based around what they deem to be Cornwall of about 200 years ago. The core support is based around the later and this path has failed and clear evidence exists to show this is not something the general public in Cornwall support so they are in a 'catch 22', they are a party of a small Minority in Cornwall acting much like the Celtic league as protesters rather than movers and shakers.

They need to drop the CL and get ziggy to transport them into 2011 and drop those with old fashion ideas and bigoted attitudes; this will quickly remove the online fringe and might see MK start representing the people of Cornwall rather than the minority, anything else is fiddling whilst Truro burns

MK want to drop the "more lefty than labour" ideas too. How well did the Labour Party do in Cornwall recently? So what's the point of being a little bit Labour + a little bit Green + a little bit Nationalist if they are three vote losing stances.

MK should become a more centreist, independence and self-reliance supporting party, and drop the green and nationalist views.

But then, what would be the point of MK.

What do you expect from him, his purpose is to upset the flow and discredit anyone who does not hold his view with juvenile comments stolen out of context.
