Even though Callum and Laura went to the same school and college they didn鈥檛 know each other before meeting at a party. After dating for several months they split up in January 2011 to sort out their differences. They reunited a couple of months later, determined to make it work and moved in together in the summer with their hamster Sinbad. They unexpectantly fell pregnant only weeks later.

Callum works as a care supervisor and has lived in Portsmouth since he was thirteen. He is one of聽six children and was raised by his Dad. Callum saw his Dad struggle a lot throughout his childhood so understands how tough being a young Dad might be.

Footie mad Callum spends much of his time on the pitch and plays semi-professionally for Petersfield FC. Thursday and Saturdays are sacred football days, as well as Wednesdays and Sundays when he can. Callum says he would pursue football professionally if he could, even though it might be harder when the baby is born, he reckons he could just take the baby to practice with him.

Laura works as an admin assistant at Queen Alexandra Hospital. Laura knew that he was the man for her at a party when he told her he loved her.

She thinks that the birth will bring out the emotional side in Callum. She gets frustrated at his sarcasm and occasional inability to take things seriously. Laura feels like they know what to expect and they are aware their lives are going to change dramatically.
