Jess is currently in debt and not working but really want’s that to change so her daughters can see her achieving something as well as providing them with the all the nice things she’d like to give them.
Jess worked part-time at a newsagent but recently quit because she thought she was being pushed too far for the minimum wage. She wants to get off benefits, by earning a good amount of cash on her trip to Norway. Not only will this ease her financial problems, but it will also prove to others - who have doubted her since she was young - that she has what it takes to be a fantastic mum who can stand on her own two feet.
