How did you start off in gymnastics?
I started doing Display Gymnastics, which is a combination of tumbling, dance and sports acrobatics in a large group. I travelled with my team all around the world participating in festivals and galas.
Can you tell us about your career so far?
I was part of the original cast of the Franco Dragone production The House of Dancing Water in Macau. I also performed in Le Reve in Las Vegas. I was part of the acrobatic ensemble, performing the Russian swing, aeriel work, bungees and a 19 meter high dive.
What qualities does it take to compete professionally in gymnastics?
Performing as a professional acrobat in a show takes place in large purpose built theatre, so having a strong stage presence is important, as is being emotionally invested in the character you are portraying on stage. You have to be brave and confident to perform, focused and trusting of everyone involved in the show and understanding to all departments. Being on stage you have to think about your performance and the skills you are executing but also have a watchful eye on your colleagues and the technical components (sets, props, lifts and winches moving, water fountains鈥o name a few).
What kind of qualities will you need from your celebrity partner in order to train effectively?

What song is guaranteed to get you dancing?
The Cranberries 'Zombie'.
Who would play you in a film of your life?
Angelina Jolie for all the action bits and/or Ellen Page because of her sarcasm and dry humour
