Well, is it???

I have been blogging now for quite a while, and I have enjoyed it. Recently my subject has mainly been renewable energy, and I must admit that as far as being free of faults the quality of my attempts are ofcourse at a little of a loss, at times. None-the-less the lack of interest in my chosen subject by my fellow islanders has amazed me; just not a a bit.
Anyway, the argument goes on-"is it or is it not".Are wind farms the answer to climate change and global warming or is it all a farce and a figment of the imagination. The planet might well not be in danger after all?
I was interested to read that Scottish Schools have brought these issues into the class rooms. Children are becoming aware, for example, how nature itself is affected by weather changes:flowers bloom three weeks earlier than twenty five years ago.
We must believe that natural life has somehow been upset. We must therefore go back to the, "is it or is it not".
Have wind turbines a bad infulence, and are there problems therefore, as regards nature;for example, the birds of the air.
Such problems, such as these I believe can be dealt with. But the beginning of the end for our planet might not be as simple a proposition.

Climate Change.

The dispute goes on and it has become obvious that not many are in agreement whether they are scientists or the ordinary leyman. While one scientist looks expectedly towards the atmosphere above, the other probs the depths of the earth and they oft times either conclude that the climate change exists in a very definate way, or on the other hand, that it does'nt.
As for myself, I have a definate gut feeling that something is amiss, coupled with the fact that many of those who are to seek out the reason why are onto something which is a strangely pecular wonder in both the north and south hemispheres.
In recent years we must give credence to many of the theories put forward in an affirmative way as to the very ingredints of climate change.
I found it interisting in my persual of news that I stumbled upon a group called: "Operation Naoh". This is a church organisation and they ask other churches and any groups throught the country to be aware of carbon fuels and how they pollute the atmosphere.
So even church leaders have added to their existing mantle, I must further admit, that we all must give the climate problem our undivided attention; for our own good and that of future generations.

Facts and figures!

When I commenced with blogs, as regards renewable energy and all its other concerns that one is led into, I did'nt expect that the whole matter would continue till now. What has happened, then, is that I have developed more than a passing interest in this subject; the result being that I'm pretty well bought over.
When I started to write, I must state, that although I lacked some facts, figures were not forthcoming.
Figures are, afterall, so important when a point is to be made. The natural elements which I have been dealing with concerning the climate over periods of time are more easily understood if theories are made more clear with figures and percentages etc.
Charts backed with figures make it clear for all what direction global warming, the earths surface temperature, sea level rise and the concentration of co2 in the atmosphere go in over the years and over the decades.
We now see at a glance and more clearly how the deliberations of the men of science materalise over the years. Records have been kept of various conditions since 1860. At that rate we can have an enlightening understanding how the different elements affect our thinking in the present day and age.

INTO THE FUTURE BLINDFOLDED...NO??? !!!

Do we require to get the blinders off as we face the future? After all, we are continually faced with a barrage of declerations regarding climate change and global warming. I'd say that it was during the last ten or twenty years that people in general became aware of such problems being a severe danger world wide. Most of us can see the reality of all this. It is a fact that scientists and other specilasts, in their quest for understanding of the earth's less obvious realms, have become aware of something profoundly serious and with possibly far reaching consequences for us all.
The whole programme has not just been a matter of routine observation but a study that has bridged many years and has been of the most detailed scientific research, bringing our attention to bear on that which was at first only surmised and possibly yet an unknown danger.
Mans unmitigated outpouring of fossil fuel pollution has endangered him with the proverbial Sword of Democolous of impending woe and trouble. the industrial freedom of former years now endangers his continued wellbeing.
So then, the cleaning up operation already commenced must be intensfied by every method available.
Renewable energy should be high up on the priority scale if success is our desire.
