Fantastic! Happy Christmas to all on Lewis - am I allowed to say that now in these PC times? Whatever you celebrate hope you enjoy it - is that OK?? Tobermory lights being switched on Friday - will try and remember the camera!

Wild Freckle from Mull - dodging the showers!

Wow - real reindeer!

Who's the fat guy wearing the red coat?

Tws from Lewis

Ahmedinejad? In disguise, of course. # Wonderful looking reindeer. Nice photos. Santa is casing the neighborhood for a good roof, I suspect.

Photo's take me back to when I visited the islands a few years ago in December, wish I was there now. I'm also enjoying the progress of your house, keep it up and thanks,

Amanda from Tyne and Wear

What a gloriously heathen sight! In Lewis. Where are our reindeer here in Orkney? Deckhand?

Flying Cat from I want some of those

Right Amanda, I suspect that Fred intends to follow your advice and keep his house up.

WF hope your evening goes well in Mull, it was a nice evening, Yes Jill can you imaging my 7 year old she was speechless and she got to stroke it too, was not me tws? mjc......again my daughter asked that when I took the chimney stack down (hows Santa going to come in my room) I did of course explain we have the other chimneys on the other side of the house so she was reasured is ok now lol.....Amanda thanks for your kind comments as this is the 1st Christmas here for my family it seemed a little special to support the local festivities.

Fred from Point

She must have been thrilled, Fred (I'd have been pretty thrilled too!). I see the reindeer are wearing Jingle Bells also. Hope Santa will be OK on your new roof, tell Holly he can use any chimney, and of course he is magic so he doesn't even need a chimney!

Jill from EK

Dont let Santa on your new roof Fred he might scratch it with his sledge Happy Easter to all on the island

Lou from Locked up for own good

Glad of all of you, and most particularly your daughter, had a very good time. Is she going to be as versatile as you are Fred?

mjc from NM,USA

Never buy a reindeer skin (without the reindeer in it) because they cast like a herd of woolly mammoths in spring. Santa uses the catflap in this house...so I'm told...

Flying Cat from hoping Santa's on a diet
