Busy weekend!

Well the weathers has not been great last week and I have been off with a stinking cold (NOT Man Flu thought)

So I thought I would make a little addition to the Garden, so on Friday I took myself off the woodshop as I was feeling a little better.

This thing weights a ton and is 1.2 mtrs high (4') for the unconverted, it now has a centre spike in the centre filled with Ballast so it should (fingers cross) with stand our weather. I think the Ducks will like it though?

I did promise Sarah, noT to build a model Village LOL

See you soon ....Fred

Competition for Arnish...while the cat's away...

Flying Cat from whatever next!!

Whoa, Fred, so this is what you do when you're not feeling 100 per cent? That's some lighthouse, how did you make the lamp at the top? and does it light up? I don't suppose it rotates... :-) BTW your shed looks like my husband's dream environment!

Jill from EK

Very nice Fred, but you might make Arnish jealous. Nice one.....

Tws from The Croft Lewis

At least it wasn't 'man flu' Fred. What a great job you've done with the lighthouse.

Carol from IBHQ

Fred, you are quite impossible, a total wonder. Great lighthouse. Maybe Arnish will drop by for tea to check out your lighthouse, Fred. # I would let the ducks near it: they just might ... Anyway, are you naming the lighthouse, Fred?

mjc from NM,USA

Hi Jill, yes it has a light too I was given a solar garden light by a friend, then I cannablised it to work the other way around so the top is the solar panel....No it does not rotate, Looked at a site in America that sells garden lighthouses but you need around 拢500-拢700 for the same thing? Thanks Carol feeling better now. MJC I have no name for it, but its your fault I had to do something to post a new blob as the other one was a week old lol.

Fred from Masterclass on building model Village

Thanks TWS, hope your well, cup of coffee coming up soon I think??? MJC, not sure if I'm going to name it?

Fred from Point

Fred, obviously I meant: "I would NOT let the ducks near it"

Now you need a lifeboat house with a slipway and a radio controlled boat. (And in November you can fire rockets and have a pretend shout)

Hyper-Borean from The slip

Honestly! Boys!!!

Flying Cat from ToysRUs

that looks great fred!! You'll soon have that bus stopping outside your garden as part of the tourist trail!! LOL

tanith from point

An oil rig, Fred. Do your duty to your country. Oil independence, that's what it is about.

Look at the 麻豆官网首页入口 Scotland website today (Thurs). Fred is the main headline! A star is born! The tour buses will definitely go past his house now.

Jill from EK

... but fame will really have arrived when the tour buses STOP and the passengers disembark for a tour, plus tea and scones.

mjc from NM,USA

Tea and scones plus a photo opportunity with the famous Fred - what a nice little earner that would be. Autographs extra, souvenir lighthouses available in our shop...

Jill from EK

Jill, sounds good to me Tea & Scones, and Sarah makes a great Quiche with those eggs (almost fame at last!!) Thanks Galloway, I have had a few people comment on it passing by. MJC, a friend of mine suggested a windmill, so it can drive the lighthouse lamp in the winter months.......OK here we go who wants a model village in AIRD hands up and we will have a vote.

Fred from Flattered

send me over some quiche and scones please, fred and once i've relocated you can start making things for my new garden! have a good weekend and don't work too hard!

carol from over here

Thanks Carol..........When are you relocating? Yes I can do commissionings too lol.

Fred from Aird, point

carol from the usual place

Are plans for the model village still underway Fred?

Carol from IBHQ

LOL Hi Carol, no feedback there then? My favorite saying is YOU NEVER KNOW, if I get bored there maybe a model village on the horizon.
