We're getting ready to move North tomorrow so I'm trying to get as much of the paperwork done for the next 2 shows before we go. I think I've developed RSI with all this loading the photocopier, typing script notes and making tea!
So - who needs Bruce Willis? Australia's highest grossing export The Wiggles - yes that's right - bigger than Kylie and Nicole Kidman - came into Radio 1 yesterday and I met them!!!

Welcome to my second blog live from Germany. I know that Aled and Carrie have done loads of these and have basically just been showing off, but I've just not got round to doing one even though 'Online Matt' the web geek, has been bugging me everyday to write something.
I have a confession. I’ve watched some of the football. I know, I know, I’m changing, but they’re starting to break me. I still talk / work / text right through it but I’m finding myself wanting it on JUST in case a goal goes in. Maybe it’s because as each goal goes in the duration of our stay or the chances of me sitting in my living room at home anytime soon gets affected.

A sequel of sorts to my 'through the keyhole' post (I'm sure you've been waiting for just that?!)...this time with clothing. Ooohhhh!
I've got some new England stuff to wear for the match, so I'm going to look like a proper fan...
Hello again geeks and nerds. Radio superstar, singing sensation and soon to be award winning author Chris Moyles speaking.
So today is Monday. The weather is a bit murky and cloudy but it’s still quite warm, especially in the broadcast chalet cos it’s has no air con and is hotter than hell in here.
Well, England are through by the skin of their teeth. But then, you don’t need me to tell you that, I’m sure it’ll be discussed on countless other blogs. What I can tell you with authority though is that a) the underground system in Stuttgart doesn’t have any London style barriers and you can walk on and off platforms at will, b) even the gay bars in Germany have massive plasma screens showing all the games and c) a certain fast-food multi-national corporation don’t do Quarter Pounders in Germany, or at least the one I went to didn’t.
It's every girl's dream. Looking into the eyes of David Beckham and getting him to whisper sweet nothings to you. Which is what I did, except for the last bit - it wasn't sweet nothings, but he did give me a good interview.
Here we go then with a birthday blog. Started the day of being 30 in typical fashion. A little jaded from the night before..decided it was going to be a painful rite of passage so aided the journey with a little rose wine.

It's half time in the Argentina V Mexico match, we're sitting outside celebrating Carrie and Jocelin's birthday and Rhys wants chocolate. At the moment we'd settle for some Rolos, or Celebrations, or fun size Mars Bars, or Terry's All Gold. More chocolates are available.

I am sat opposite our executive producer Rhys Hughes who has just written his blog. We are sitting on the wooden benches just outside the broadcast chalet. Now Rhys has an unbelievable flatulence problem.
Day 16 - Cabin fever is begining to set in. We had a great time up in Herford on the British army base and the BFBS boys and girls really looked after us. Razorlight's performance was excellent, although Jonnie nearly didn't make it - as you can imagine the stress levels were a-rising. The 500km drive back down sarfff to Ellwangen was punctuated by Chris' snoring and Asa's (our security man) bad jokes, but we got through it with the Lily Allen album, which is becoming our official soundtrack to Deutschland 06. (hello Kevin)
Hello. I can hear. Everything. Properly. It's great.
The nurse syringed me and got enough wax out to make an ornamental candle. Thanks to everyone who sent in tips on wax matters. All much appreciated. I'm off now to Interview Bruce Willis.

I'm a bit over tired so this might sound a bit random, We're back down south now in our chalets and you've probably heard Chris talking about where we've been staying and the fact that there's a unique sense of style to the place.
Alright eerrr, as I think you know we're back down sarf again. It's Thursday evening, I can't believe that we've been out here for 2 weeks now. Most of the boys (and Joce) have gone out to the local Italian (again), but Carrie and I have decided to have a girls night in, eating salad and having a glass of rose. Oh and watching the football.
Another busy 24 hours.
Despite being in Germany with all her colleagues, I'd like to think that she still had a good birthday. Following my new game "This is Your Life" (entirely original work), then a birthday card presented to her at a service station with a handfull of toilet tokens lovingly collected by the team (don't worry I don't know what they are either).
It's been a hectic last few days…on Monday, I was in total headless chicken mode from 9am til around midnight, interviewing fans, watching the training session, going to press conferences before the Sweden game…at least the match itself on Tuesday was worth waiting for…I thought England looked much better with the ball - they seemed to have a vague idea about what to do with it…everyone winced in pain when Owen twisted his knee, but I thought Rooney looked sharp after that broken foot.
The team have all gone to Cologne to watch the match tonight and they've left Aled and I behind! He's currently napping on the floor, he got bored of waiting for me to finish my work. He's always complaining about the length of time it takes for me to get ready. So I take an hour to get dressed rather than his 10 minutes or I like to spend 10 minutes longer in the pool than he does. We're starting to act like a married couple!
Well its day 4 of our second location in Germany. Herford's not bad actually - in typical fashion we have commandered a bar in the middle of town with a big screen and an italian in a square further down where we can watch the footie, drink German beer and eat good food..Having said that Aled and I actually discovered this little place that does the most wicked fish finger sandwiches!! Who could have thought that - Fishfinger sandwiches in Germany?!!!! It was the buisiness...needed after a hectic afternoon in the pool....
Not far off two weeks in to our World Cup experience and it's keep your head down time. The excitement of being out in Germany has calmed slightly and now the realities of a close nit team working very long hours across different technical situations means tempers are being tested.

This is weird! I'm currently sat alone in the room next to the studio where Chris did the show this morning (at Herford army base) and listening to BFBS radio. Rachel and Rhys have just headed down to the town after Razorlight's crew came and set up all their gear for tomorrow morning.
Hello. It's me. Not only am I not in Germany, I now can’t hear anything!
I have wax build-up big style in my left ear and it's horrendous. Not as bad as say a broken arm or fractured elbow but i'd easily liken the pain to child birth. It's not dampening my enjoyment of the World Cup, but it does mean the TV volume's on 83.

Hello it's Sunday. We've now moved location and are 'up north' about an hour west of Hannover. I'm feeling a bit tired and emotional and my brain isn't working. After our 5 hour drive the team decided to explore our new hood, and we ended up in a bizarre club that holds 5000 people.
I'm at home in sunny London writing this, getting ready to catch my flight back to Germany and join the others. I came home to firstly see the husband but (more importantly) I had to meet Grace once I knew she was up for eviction. Here's how it went...

I've just had my first go of autobahn driving, and we're still in one piece! I've now handed over the wheel to Mark (our translator) who had threatened to spend his time as passenger blowing bubbles with the 'world's best chewing gum' - and its not even bubblegum, which is what makes it so amazing.

Smells, snoring, and driving. That's the world of Â鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú sport online's Fletch and Ricco (they've dispensed with first names) who are travlling round Germany in a camper van. It's not your usual world cup tour, and they're blogging the whole experience - check it out here, it's a real good read.
I'd met up with Fletch in London prior to coming out here and we'd agreed that we'd try and hook up - amazingly it all went to plan considering that they're going all the way round Germany with a lot of camper van issues, and the fact we're in the middle of nowhere.
Here we go then with another blog - its quite fun doing this and clearly as Rach is demonstrating a good way to get things off your chest!!! Can't believe the cheeky minx called me a fishwife. I agree my volume control was out of control on certain occassions, but whoever was watching that England game for the first 80 minutes I am sure they were doing the same.
It's true, I will have to tear myself away from the team and end an 8 day run of living in each other's pockets 24/7. I'm understandably gutted. Oh well, I will be able to stem the flood of tears by focusing on the exciting prospect of meeting Grace from the Big Brother house tonight.
I hate mosquitos. What is their purpose other than to just bug people in hot countires. You wouldn't even class Germany as a typically hot country, but I suppose we are in the middle of the countryside.
BLOG 3 - The sequel to Blog 1 and Blog 2...
Blimey!!!!! It's never easy is it? I was watching in a packed Pub close to home and there were lots of worried faces at half time. All that "we're going to stick 6 past them" rubbish soon looked mis-judged.
Hoooorayyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!!!!! I'm in the car on the way back from the England v Trindad & Tobago match. Firstly, hoorrrrayyyy I actually managed to go and hoooorayyyy we won.
I don't know what is going on this morning. Chris and Dave keep giggling whenever I ask them about the toilet. I went in there this morning and the flush is broken. That meant I couldn't have a dump and I was and still am desperate. Nobody will tell me what is going on though. And I have no idea how to fix it.
Some more eventful days.
Seriously, I see the calendar days ticking off saying we’ve done only 4 shows out here in Germany but I find it hard to believe. I’m still marvelling at the way we’ve set up and entire production village out here in the middle of nowehere. For the techie’s amongst you the only piece of the jigsaw that’s not yet been slotted in is the stubborn Wi-fi. We have it in around the main studio chalet but the there are two other chalets, the first with Rach, Carrie, Mark (our translator) and Matt for online content. The second houses the competition winners, Joce and myself, in this chalet we’ve set up a mini production room.
We've got two new competition winners arriving tonight (Rebecca and Matthew) so I've been cleaning our chalet in preparation.

Everyone's cracking on with work again now the show has finshed for today. Chris is upstairs at the moment and is quite possibly getting rid of the handlebar moustache that he was rocking last night.
Howdy Blog fans. I am Chris Moyles.
Now I know a hell of a lot of people think that we are on one big jolly out here. Doing a few hours work in the morning, watching the football with a few beers, catching some sun, swimming etc. But honestly, there's enough work going on. The truth is although we are having a wicked time, EVERYBODY is working their asses off!!
This is just the best experience ever!! I may sound like a little kid but I am loving this World Cup, even the negatives like Dave snoring next to me each night (we are in twin beds not a double) is not spoiling this tournament. I have loved every single game. In fact the most boring half of football I have seen was probably the 2nd half of the England game.
I really enjoyed the Mexico against Iran game, some great knockabout football. I thought the Czechs looked awesome against the USA. Such a shame to see the Americans get a stuffing in any sport! And Italy versus Ghana was cracking last night as well, me and Dave watched that together away from the rest of the group. We are getting the reputation of the moody brothers of the group. Speaking of reputation...
Morning all - its day 5 out in Germany and it just seems to get hotter by the minute! I was up at 5.50 thats 4.50 your time and it was already boiling!!! The show's been going really well - we had the boys from Embrace here this morning - they are a great bunch of lads very funny - was hilarious singing the backing tracks on World in Motion and World at Your Feet last night..it gets more surreal every day..
Monday late afternoon – Embrace have just played in the garden of our chalet and I missed it, as I was on the phone to London with Radio 1 business, while trying to watch the USA game. So far the team have been getting on pretty well, just a few tetchy moments mainly brought on by a lack of sleep. I do have to take issue with Rachel over Mark Chapman and myself spreading the hands of friendship with locals in Frankfurt - we were just spreading the love. Granted Mark videoing a Brazilian barmaid, may have been a bit forward.
This is my second blog and i'm still not in bloody Germany. Actually - i'm just excited about the World Cup so that's taking my mind off it. Seen every game apart from the Mexico match so far...and i'm loving it.
Argentina are looking pretty good. May be worth a punt?
While the rest of the world watched England struggle against Paraguay, Jocelin and I found ourselves a heated pool. On Friday I jumped in to the pool at our camp. I won’t be doing that again. It was so cold I couldn’t breathe! I managed to warm up enough to get a 300metre swim out until I lost all feeling in my limbs and had to get out.

It's day 4 here and this is my first posting. I haven't written one yet cos I've actually been busy....seriously. When we arrived Thursday night, we had some food and a few drinks then went to bed. Friday morning we did the radio show, then I went for a run (Yes I did actually) then wrote some of my soon to be published book. Incidently I have 34,500 words still to write before I go home .. not sure if I'm going to finish it really. Then a bar-b-q on Friday night then bed.
Day 4 then - Sunday and a down day as Rach calls it. As you can see from the pics I managed to get to a game - we had one spare and lovingly Rach and Rhys allowed me to take it! So amazing! My first England World Cup Game. Met up with Chris and Dave at the stadium which was fantastic.

It’s Sunday, we’ve been here for 4 days or is it 3?…anyway and I’ve just realised I haven’t written anything. So, I’ll write now, whether it’s interesting or not is another matter. Probably not.
If you listened to the show on Friday you’ll realise we are staying in the middle of nowhere. The best way to describe it is like a small holiday village, but with chalets and not caravans. It’s all very quaint and idyllic, I think my Mum would like it a lot. Lots of fields, horses and flowers and that kind of thing. It couldn’t be anymore different than the dizzy heights of London (which is where I live), but I’m growing to really like it here.
Hi, it's David here from the Newsbeat team…I'm following the England squad in Germany…yes, that means I get to go to the games and no, I DON'T HAVE ANY TICKETS. But it was boiling in the Waldstadion yesterday as Becks and co. looked good for about half an hour and then wilted in the heat before just about holding on for that 1-nil win over Paraguay…the atmosphere was amazing, though - I must have counted over 100 St. George's crosses from different places in the UK…one of them simply said "I'm very excited". And the England fans were excellent - they barely stopped chanting all game, even though the performance was a bit rubbish.
Well today we find ourselves in Frankfurt. Rach and I have managed to get ourselves some tickets at the last minute but they are being flown over from England. We are now getting very stressed and frustrated as they may not arrive in time. 2 hours 15 mins til' kick off!

Another early start, but its somehow a lot easier getting up when you know you’re going to Frankfurt for an England World Cup match. We’ve got two cars doing the journey – some of us will be watching the match in a Frankfurt bar, the others have got tickets – and we’re currently speeding along the autobahn heading north.
We've only been here 24 hours and already I'm seeing a new side to someone. When we rolled up to our camp last night they gave us such a welcome. They had dinner prepared and the chalets had been spring cleaned for the occasion but they weren't expecting Aled and I to be sharing a room!

We're currently huddled round the TV watching Chris kicks some serious butt on some generic video games console. Chris says he hasn't played it before. What he means is that he hasn't played the latest version of the game. He's blatantly played FIFA before.
Dave here live from Germany, settling into our villa and new continental lifestyle in the middle of nowhere. We’ve not really had a chance to explore properly as yet as we never arrived at our Hansel and Gretel style chalets until about 9pm Thursday night, and then were straight up to do Friday’s show live from the deep dark forest, but we’re hoping to go off and find out what local attractions there are on offer shortly.
Well we've just arrived in Germany after what I'm sure would have been a lovely flight if the pilot hadn't decided to dip the plane a little faster than I would have liked during landing! What, did he hear the show this morning and thought It'd be a bit of a laugh to scare us?
As everyone else is packing for Germany, ( Joc - lose the flip-flops by the way - seriously!) I am not getting my suitcase out nor indeed my summer footwear clobber. This is because I am NOT going to Germany for the World Cup!!!!!!
Just a day to go then till we go off to Germany - can't believe its come round so quickly. I am so behind with my packing - not the best timing then to go out to the Glamour Awards and have a few white wines and 3 hours sleep. My head hurts but I saw loads of celebs so it was well worth it..Except the lovely Jocelin (who looked fabulous by the way) blurted out all our guess who's!!! Anyway back to the packing - I have done all my washing but think I am short of a few t-shirts and pants so am off to the shops this morning to sort that out. Like all the girls I too am having massive dilemmas on what to take..As Aled's already grassed me up for taking the golf clubs…well the England team are out there playing a few holes so why shouldn't I?!
As I sit here eating my salad with low fat honey and mustard dressing, Aled has bullied me into moving away from the food and writing my first blog.
So, we're off to Germany. Really looking forward to the trip, obviously please remember it is work not a holiday.

Only 3 days to go and I've already started packing. Do you think 3 cases is excessive? I might have to lose the hair strengtheners and 5th pair of flip flops. It's not all about me deciding what to wear though I'm also working hard getting things together before we jet off on Thursday...

I'm Aled, Chris' Day Producer and more than likely the one that will be posting the most on here (because I'm a bit of geek!), saying that though the whole team have promised to post on here as often as possible for the duration of the World Cup. What will we be getting up to? What stuff couldnl't we talk about on air? Who got on each other's nerves? I suspect this will be where all that comes out as we use this blog as a bit of a Germany diary room.
