Dima Bilan represented Russia at the Eurovision Song Contest 2006 with the song ‘Never Let You Go’ which scored Russia 248 points and a finish of second place (losing out to Lordi). With his sights set firmly on victory, however, Dima returned to the competition just two years later to win the 2008 contest with the song ‘Believe’, receiving a grand total of 272 points.

After Eurovision, Dima recorded his first international album; collaborated with Nelly Furtado; and won an award for ‘Best Selling Russian Artist’. Other successes have seen him perform at the ‘World Music Awards’ in London (alongside artists including Michael Jackson, Beyoncé and Rihanna), as well as becoming a judge on Russia’s version of The Voice.
