The song did so well, in fact, that it broke a record for the most 12 points scored of any entry in the contest’s history. Following the competition, ‘Euphoria’ went on to reach No. 1 in the charts across Europe, including: Austria, Denmark, Germany, Poland and Loreen’s home country of Sweden.
In the UK, it charted at No. 3; the highest chart position for a non-UK Eurovision entry since Johnny Logan's ‘Hold Me Now’ in 1987. More recently, Loreen has released her second album ‘Heal’ and third ‘Paper Light’; she premiered her single ‘We got the Power’ (as part of a medley) in the Interval Act of the 2013 Eurovision Song Contest Grand Final; and she has been working in the studio with Canadian artist Kiesza.
