Look out for large limousines in Ness next week

PS A limousine is a car not a bull!
Just a little advance warning about some large important motors containing large important people beetling around Ness next week and the week after. Donald and I have received advance warning that the Dell Fank is to be made a World Heritage Site. Annie B was lobbying - (she is good with lobbies but hopeless with porches) in Seville last week gladhanding the great and the good over there. Apparently Liverpool's Liver Building and the Tower of London are in danger of losing their status and the Fank seems the obvious successor to the Grand Jury. If anyone else in the islands has a spot they would like to be a World Heritage site we'll happily point the judges in their direction for a few quid and a bottle of The Bheag. Lamlash would appear an obvious spot or Auchenshuggle Public Laundry maybe?

I would like to nominate the picnic tables and benches outside the Flattie Bar as a World Heritage Site, as they are frequented by a variety of venerable sights, some of whom ought to know better but don't. In common with the standing stones at Brodgar, some will be erect, some seated and some prone, but, unlike Brodgar, they vary in position from day to day and disappear altogether in inclement weather. I hope the Fank Panel will give this nomination serious consideration.

Everybody has to agree that Ness is one of the most beautiful places in Scotland, from the land to the house's most things remain as they were years an years ago, the house's inside are absolutely beautiful not to mention the beaches, the old fishing pier in Ness and all the other wonderful attractions, as youngsters, friends and I used to play round Dell Fank an watch the sheep so I have to agree with this nomination but also think you should consider Ness as a whole as it has to be said, is a wonderful exciting place.

The big bad Bubbilz!! from Ness as a whole

Oh, a wee Hummer. I have seen one of those around town. Taking little Johnnie/Joanie to kindergarten in designer clothes, I suspect (or is that Madonna's latest acquisition from Malawi I spy?).

I was pleasured to be glad handed by Annie B last week. Obviously the dipping has given her a powerful wrist.

Marag from Seville

Would you please note, the location is under THE scaffy, not 'a'. Many thanks to James, yes, we can now name him and shame him as he has walked out on the co-op gig and departed south of the border to Newcastle. We all miss you James, any chance of a wee veesit for Jenni's birthday tomorrow. Speaking of which CA, could you see if Annie could get me a lend oh wan oh yon 'umbers for the 21 perty the morns night? On the subject of sheep,. Were we? Anyhoo, Declan, the shitzshire had a visit from the nit nurse at the beginning of the week and was given a baldy. As a result I have had to purchase him a wooly jumper. 拢7 a time, think we need to get the needles oot again ladies, could make another killin at the Fank, and I think the old homestead may need some double glazing, cling film just aint cutting it in the atlantic winds.

A powerful wrist, by Jeremy! That is just what the doctor ordered to make the next Fank go with a bang..........or something very close to a bang: and what a wonderful contribution to multiculturalism grannyE - making kilims will help ali sundry cut a rug and no mistake.

I know this is asking for the usual conflation-confusion, but I did post a comment which, like others, has not appeared......I expect it will now. *sigh*

Right, that's it, at the risk of repeating myself, (you never know when Lost Comments may randomly appear) could the Fank Panel give fair warning before they roar up the ferry ramp in their Charolais of Fire, as most of the old sights have retreated into the steaming depths of the Flattie, and it will take a while to drag them out and position them to full advantage, never mind give them a good dust-up and rub-down. We want this SSSI (Site of Steaming Soporific Interest) to be in with a chancitunity of winning. This is not just a flash in the pan.
