Retraction from Councillor Angus Ouzi

Further to his support of the Gunn lobby, Coun Ouzi wishes to retract the speech he made on radio demanding more crack houses for Ness when they are so plentiful in the mainland cities. He realises now that crack houses wont bring tourism to Swainbost and Eoropie. Because of his new bifocals he misread the speech his wife had written for him. He meant to say 'black houses'.

Are we allowed to say things like 'black house' just willynilly like this?

Did he mean craic houses? Ness was twinned with Connemara a wee while ago and there were some exchange visits to foster cross-cultural links.

Cracked houses in Ness? B & B with an old cottage feel for your American cousins? I really don't think Count Uzzi knows what he is talking about. Come to think of it, neither do I. Weekend is coming up, thank heavens.

Seemingly funding subsidies are now available for off-the shelf reading glasses. They're called Foster Grants.

I thought they were subsidies for the purchse of Australian lager

calum from skol house cross

I thought they were subsidies for stereotypical English actors in romantic comedy.

Off-the-wall might be more useful...
