The Rover's Return

Finally back to the island next Friday after a couple of months undercover on government business. Been out in Afghanistan (Hellman Province) persuading the ocals to grow mayonnaise and ditch the heroin crop. Met up with Chrissie Mary who is representing the UK in Bejiing in the modern biathlon - darts and dominoes. She is a favourite for a medal in this event. Annie B was in Spain last week but now it's Portugal - hunting for a branch of C and A!
Looking forward to seeing the Siadar Wave Project and see how it compares with the Mexican version. See the white settler's gone all McGanagall on us - what happened to his heather coloured prose? The ferry terminal sounds as if it's undergone a facelift - I bumped into the cafe owner in Darlington recently - the Mackinnon's van gave him away.
The film is 'in the can' but has to come back from Boot's yet then it's into the cinemas around Crimbo.
I've invested in a Vodafone link for my laptop and hope I don't have to climb on the roof in Fivepenny to get any reception - people think it's a Fathers for Justice protest but it's only me trying to get a pizza delivered or emailing my analyst.
Great photos of Ness cemetery Arnish - like looking at my family album. My mother's name is on a headstone there and another 500 miles away - how clever is that to be apparently resting in two places?
Looking forward to a Stag Pie and MacBraynes Macaroni

Good to hear from you, Calum.: I was starting to wonder whether you would finally get parole. .

I tried to comment at the weekend, I really did...perhaps the Spam Fritter took offence at my entirely undeliberate misreading of the last word in "and hope I don't have to climb on the roof in Fivepenny to get any reception" Honestly the lengths some male bipeds have to go to for a bit of hoochmagandie!

Flying Cat from an e**c***n

There are plenty of cars parked at the football club after post wedding/ceilidh celebratins these past few days. McPlod must have been patrolling at closing time for everyone to forsake their transport. Annie B is back from Portugal and I've told her if Granny E can blog again then so can she. Off to the Book Trust conference in Shawbost these next three days and generally mooching around the Fank site in Dell looking for inspiration ( or any leftover women). Till next time

Yes, good to read your crusty prose again, Calum, and catch up on Ness gossip. All strength to Crissie M's arm nd let not her squint confuse the issue. Annie B. back! YES! Roll it out!! And how can we get to see your filum if not holding an Aunty Beeb licence?

Barney from Swithiod normality again

How thrilling to hear of AnnieB's return to the bosom of her family. I hope she kept her castanets in peak condition.

What are you raving about re: Annie B is back? She is in Portugal, for crying out loud, probably stuffing grilled mackerel or sardines down her gullet, accompanied by the local brew (I wish I could join her). # The latest re: Chrissie Mary is that she got sidwewinded by an Ulan Bator resident who used laser guided darts. They made up and we expect to have a Mongolian at the next fank. # As to Calum. mater resting in two places, was there some insurance shenanigans involved? I suspect so.
